As you know, I thought he should have been on the team to begin with and that the team could stand to lose a point guard, given that LeBron plays "point forward" anyway. If Team USA's shooting goes cold, the only thing that will keep them in the game is more shots, and more shots come from playing defense and from rebounding. They need Tyson Chandler for both those things. He erases mistakes for teams. I was glad to see TeamUSA asked Tyson Chandler to travel with the team to China as the team’s “First Alternate.”
