Ballin’: John Stockton’s 24 Assists

On May 17th, 1988, John Stockton had 24 assists against the Los Angeles Lakers to tie Magic Johnson’s four-year old playoff record.

[Note: Magic, Stockton, and Steve Nash are tied for second place with a single playoff game mark of 23 assists]

With all due to respect to Magic & others, I can’t imagine anyone filling the role of point guard any better than Stockton did.
