Due to Team USA’s sixth place finish in the 2002 FIBA World Championship, the United States was forced to play in the 2003 FIBA Americas Olympic Qualifying Tournament. That team was comprised of Ray Allen, Mike Bibby, Elton Brand, Vince Carter, Nick Collison, Tim Duncan, Allen Iverson, Richard Jefferson, Jason Kidd, Kenyon Martin, Tracy McGrady, and Jermaine O’Neal and finished a perfect 10-0 to qualify for the 2004 Olympics.
