Ballin’: The Dream Team Wins the Gold

I’ve already presented the 1992 gold medal game between the United States and Croatia. I hate to spoil the ending, but the Dream Team wins by 32 — their closest margin of victory in the 92′ Olympics. So what’s so special about this video? It shows the Dream Team receiving their medals.  If you fast-forward to about the eight minute mark of the video, you can catch David Robinson, Patrick Ewing, Larry Bird, Scottie Pippen, Michael Jordan, Cylde Drexler, Karl Malone, John Stockton, Chris Mullin, Charles Barkley, and Magic Johnson receiving their medals on the podium.  Despite what those players had accomplished individually and collectively in the NBA, you can see the joy and satisfaction they took from winning the gold medal for their country.
