In 1987, Michael Jordan recorded three straight 50 point games.  Jordan scored 53 against the Pacers, 50 against the Bucks, and 61 against the Atlanta Hawks.  MJ shot a combined 57-of-96 (59%) in those three contests and scored 40 or more points in 37 of his 82 regular season games that season.

A incredible Michael Jordan’s season, over 37 points averaged and hitting the league. When Bulls were Jordan & nothing else…, well, Charles Oakley plays a good season.

Averaging 37 points over the course of a season is incredible. A 27 point performance would have been an off night, and he would have had to drop 47 the next night to maintain his average.

Yes, but is Michael Jordan, off course.
