to Erick-

what makes you think LeBron would play second-banana to Kobe?? It is easily debatable that Kobe would play sidekick to LeBron, not vice versa...

but in all honesty, if these two were ever paired on an NBA team (they wont be...) I am sure they would completely co-exist with each other without a clear way of determining who is second to who. (think of Boston this year...while it was clear Ray Allen was third, it is HIGHLY debatable on whether Garnett or Pierce was the head honcho. More than anything, it seems like a Yin and Yang...THANG!)

Good article and the line, "LeBron remains loyal to teams that have won championships" resonates deeply. Assuming Cleveland doesn't win a championship the next few years, even though a multitude of teams will have money to spend on LeBron, the options for where he'd play aren't as endless.

I wonder if the Nets' lack of NBA success will turn him off even when they come to Brooklyn, and I wonder if the Knicks's recent history tarnishes their overall prestige in his eyes. Would he play for a blue-collar team like the Spurs that doesn't do a lot for a player's glamor and mass appeal? Would he want to be a second banana in Los Angeles? A lot of interesting questions...
