I remember this game. The Mavs had the brilliant idea to try the “deny the passing lanes, make Nash beat you” gameplan. So, he did.

Welcome.
I profile a lot of great individual performances. But this one was different. Obviously, there aren’t any thunderous dunks or power moves to the hoop. Instead, Nash scored most of his points off of jumpers.
He only shot four free throws. That’s incredible.

It is a crime that Nash will likely never win a title. From the Joe Johnson injury to Amare’s knee problems to The Infamous Suspensions last year, it just seems like fate was never on Nash’s side. Still, an amazing leader and great role model (After School Special over now, haha)
