On March 12th, 1985, Larry Bird scored a career-high and franchise-record 60 points against the Atlanta Hawks. Bird scored 37 of his 60 points in the second half to reclaim the franchise record from Kevin McHale. McHale broke Bird’s previous record of 53 points with a 56 point game against the Detroit Pistons nine days prior.
