Ballin’: Kobe Scores 81

On January 22, 2006, Kobe Bryant scored 81 points against the Toronto Raptors. Bryant shot 28-of-46 from the field, 7-of-13 from the three point line, and 18-of-20 from the free throw line. Bryant scored 51 of his 81 points after the Raptors a 63-49 halftime lead to 71-53 with 9:22 remaining in the third quarter. Bryant’s 81-point masterpiece is the second highest single-game point total in NBA history.
