On March 4th, 1987, Michael Jordan scored 61 points against the ‘Bad Boy’ era Pistons. Jordan shot 22-of-39 from the field, 17-of-18 from the free throw line, grabbed 7 rebounds, handed out 3 assists, recorded 3 steals, and blocked 3 shots in a 125-120 Bulls win. MJ’s 61-point performance vs. Detroit is the third-highest scoring game of his career and came a year before he torched the Pistons to the tune of 59 points.
