“Raw lightning.” First basket comes off his patented left-to-right crossover that he learned from Dean Berry, the G’town walk-on. I almost forgot about Momma Iverson’s sideline antics during his early days in Philly.

Never questioned the talent. I just don’t know if his style is conducive to efficient team basketball. Well, actually I’m pretty sure it isn’t.

Time will tell if the trade works out. Detroit may miss Billups more than they think.

    Peter,

AI was fun to watch when he was with Philly. The Sixers surrounded him with players that were willing to do the dirty work — and it worked.

    Shooter,

I agree. I’m a big fan of Allen Iverson’s heart. You have to admire a guy with his fearlessness. To be 6 feet, 165 pounds, and accomplish what he has is incredible. But I don’t agree with his shot selection. He’s not a team player.
