Lang Whitaker of SLAM attended the much anticipated showdown between Brandon Jennings and Ricky Rubio last night. Whitaker reports that Jennings and Rubio spent very little time matching up with one another but both players appear to be lottery picks.
According to Jonathan Givony of Draft Express, there were “more than 30 NBA scouts, executives and general managers at the Olympic Stadium in Barcelona, Spain.”
Rehabbing from a wrist injury, Rubio recorded 3 assists, 1 steal, and a rebound in only 8:34 of action. Jennings scored 12 points on 5-of-8 from the field, and handed out 2 assists in 22:54 of PT.
