As you have undoubtedly noticed, we’ve made a few updates over the past few days. RealGM and I have entered into a partnership that will give me the opportunity to write for them daily. Things around here will remain pretty much the same. My domain name and RSS feed will remain unchanged. My content and posting frequency will continue to be steady as well.
The ‘Forums’ and ‘Discuss in Forum’ links in the menu bar and below each post will direct you to RealGM’s Basketball Forum. If you haven’t done so, I encourage you to register with RealGM’s Forums. RealGM has a great Forum community. My Forums can still be accessed at:Â http://ballerblogger.com/phpBB3/.
I may place an ad in the header and sidebar from time-to-time, but that’s about it.
I’d like to thank all the readers of this site for your support. I wrote my first blog at FOXSports about two years ago and it’s been a wild ride ever since. I’ve been credentialed to games, and linked to by the likes of ESPN, Yahoo! Sports, CBSSports, and FanHouse, among others. I’ve also had the opportunity to get to know some of my favorite bloggers.
I had no idea how big the NBA blogosphere outside of FOXSports was until I started BallerBlogger. It’s such a great community of passionate and knowledgeable bloggers. I’m grateful for the respect BallerBlogger has received from its peers.
I understand the game, but I’ve learned a lot over the past eight months. Putting together my links series has allowed me to study some of the finest NBA scribes in the business. I’m thankful for the reception The Fundamentals has received. It’s a time consuming endeavor, but I enjoy every second of it.
I hope my passion for the game shines through in my writing. I love NBA basketball. Covering the league makes me feel alive in a way nothing ever will. I have strong opinions, but I appreciate differing viewpoints. If you think LeBron James is better than Kobe Bryant — tell me about it. There’s nothing better than a good basketball debate.
Again, I want to thank the readers of this site for your support. I also want to thank RealGM for the opportunity.
2009 is going to be a great year!
