the.LIFE Files caught up with James on the set of his new Nike commercial for the Air Max LeBron VII. LeBron calls Jay-Z a “big brother,” and delves into his endorsement deals with Nike and Coca-Cola at around the 3:00 mark. James insists that his endorsements aren’t about money. “It’s about creating a partnership that can last a long time,” James says. Which seems to contradict his stated goal of becoming the world’s first billion dollar athlete. James signed a six-year deal with the Coca-Cola back in 2003. His seven-year contract with Nike expires next summer.
