		<description>I&#039;m glad Kirk Hinrich made the list. He&#039;s a terrific defender. But I don&#039;t think Eric Snow deserved the nod over Gary Payton or Kobe Bryant. Payton made the All-Defensive 1st team twice. Kobe has been a perennial All-NBA defender over the past decade. You could argue that Bryant&#039;s reputation has been inflated in recent years, and there&#039;s some truth there. Battier deserved the 1st team nod over Bryant last season. But Bryant was one of the league&#039;s top perimeter defenders from about 2000-04 (during the handcheck era). And there were only 1 or 2 guys better than him from 2005-09.
