Dirk Nowitzki scored a Mavericks-record 29 points in the fourth quarter of Tuesday’s comeback victory, finishing with 40 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, two steals, five blocks, and zero turnovers. He shot 12-of-22 from the field and 15-of-16 from the line, including a perfect 14-for-14 stretch in the final period.
