I love NBA.com’s Hot Spots, which as you can see below, shows how teams and players have been shooting from each spot on the floor. People often say that Chris Paul has no weaknesses to his game, but that’s not really true. The key is to force him into his zones of least efficiency, which before this season meant funneling him into the corners, where his effectiveness dipped precipitously. Ten games into the current campaign, however, Paul tops the league in John Hollinger’s Player Efficiency Rating (33.77) due in no small part to his excellent True Shooting Percentage (.706). As the chart shows, Paul has been one of the most efficient scorers in the NBA — from nearly every spot on the floor.
